About these terms
These terms cover using gapshark.com and the free things on it. If you hire us, your written quote covers that job as well, and where the two differ, the quote wins.
Using this site
Use it for anything lawful. Please don't try to break it, overload it, or use its forms or chat to send spam.
The words, designs and images on this site belong to GapShark, except client work and tool logos, which belong to their owners.
Free resources
The Gap Score, the prompt library and anything else we give away are general information to help you think things through. They aren't professional advice for your business, so use your own judgment.
You're welcome to use the prompts in your own business. Please don't republish or sell the library as your own.
We keep them as accurate as we can, but AI tools change fast, so they're provided as they are.
The free Gap Audit
The Gap Audit is free, with no obligation. You get a short written plan, and it's yours to keep whether or not you hire us. If you don't need us, we'll tell you.
Paid work
Every job has a fixed price, quoted in writing after the Gap Audit. Nothing starts until you've agreed the quote.
The quote sets out what's included, when it will be done and how you pay. If the job needs to change, we agree the change and any new price in writing first. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
What you own
Every account, login and file we set up for you is in your name from day one. If we ever part ways, everything stays with you.
We only have access while we build or support it, and you can remove that access at any time.
The tools we set up run on their makers' own terms and prices, which you agree with them directly.
The chat assistant
The chat answers from this site's own content, and it can get things wrong. Nothing it says is a quote, a promise or advice. For anything that matters, ask us directly.
Other sites and tools
We link to, and sometimes recommend, other companies' tools. We aren't responsible for their sites, their prices or how they work.
Our liability
We do the work with reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for losses nobody could have expected when the work was agreed, or for problems caused by tools and services we don't run. For any job, our total liability is limited to what you paid for it.
Nothing here limits liability the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. If you're buying as a consumer, your legal rights aren't affected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the new version goes here with a new date at the top. The version that applies is the one here when you use the site, or the one in place when you agreed your quote.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute. We'd always rather sort things out with a conversation first.
