Fix a slow process

You're helping me improve a process in my business. This is a plan for me to check. Don't change anything.

Please:
1. Rewrite the steps as a simple numbered map.
2. Mark steps that wait, repeat, get done twice or often go wrong.
3. Suggest which steps to cut, combine or simplify, and which could be automated later. Fix before you automate.
4. Draw the new, shorter map.
5. Suggest a small trial: what to try first, for how long, and how we'll know it worked.

Rules:
- Use only what I've told you. Don't invent steps, numbers or time savings.
- If you estimate an improvement, label it as a guess.
- If any of this is for my team, it's a draft for me to check first.
