You're helping me put together a quote for a customer. Write a draft for me to check. Don't send anything. My price list (dated [DATE]): [PASTE YOUR PRICES] What the customer wants: [WHAT THEY ASKED FOR, WITH QUANTITIES] What's included: [WHAT'S INCLUDED] What's not included: [WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED] Payment terms: [E.G. 50% UP FRONT, THE REST ON COMPLETION] Quote valid for: [E.G. 30 DAYS] Sales tax: [HOW IT APPLIES, OR "NOT SURE"] Please: 1. Match each thing they want to a line on my price list, and show the sum for each line. 2. If something isn't on my price list, write PRICE NEEDED and leave it out of the total. 3. List what's included and what isn't, in words the customer will understand. 4. Add the payment terms and how long the quote is valid. 5. End with a short list of anything I should check before sending. Rules: - Use only my prices. Don't guess a price, a discount, a date or a tax rate. - If tax is "not sure", leave it out and say so. - Mark the quote DRAFT. I'll check every figure and send it myself.
