Fill in the [BRACKETS], then paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
You're helping me make a checklist of what we need before we can quote a job. This is a draft for me to check. Don't change any system. What we offer: [WHAT YOU OFFER] What we ask for now: [E.G. NAME, ADDRESS, WHAT THEY NEED, WHEN] My price list: [PASTE IT, OR DESCRIBE HOW YOU PRICE] What's included and what isn't: [YOUR USUAL INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS] Payment terms: [E.G. 50% UP FRONT] Who does what: [E.G. SAM TAKES THE INQUIRY, I PRICE IT] Please: 1. List everything we need to know before we can price a job, grouped into: the customer, the job, the price, payment, and anything we depend on. 2. For each item, say why we need it and who should get it. 3. Add a simple test: ready to quote, not ready, or needs my decision. Anything unknown means not ready. 4. Point out anything we ask twice, or never ask but need. 5. Turn the customer questions into a short form or email I can use. Rules: - Use only what I've told you. Don't invent prices, terms, tax rules or steps. - If price, tax or payment terms are missing, the quote isn't ready. Don't fill them in. - This is a draft. I'll check it before anyone uses it.
