Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if it's done properly, and we do it properly. We map every page you have and keep or redirect each address, so Google carries your rankings across. It's how we moved Yaya's 55 blog posts with none broken.
Can I still change the site?
Yes, without touching WordPress again. Send us the change and we'll make it: up to 2 small changes a month on Core, unlimited on Full and Growth. Anything bigger gets a fixed quote before we start.
How much does a WordPress migration cost?
It's a rebuild on one of our website plans: Core at $99 a month, no setup fee (12-month minimum), Full at $199 a month + $299 setup (12-month minimum), Growth at $449 a month + $499 setup (12-month minimum). Hosting and care are included. Or a custom website from $3,000 at a fixed price, which is yours when it's done.
How long does it take?
Core goes live in 7 business days. Full goes live in 14 business days once your content is ready. Bigger sites get a date before you agree to anything.
Do you migrate WooCommerce or membership sites?
No. We don't move WooCommerce shops or sites with a members' area. Our WordPress migrations are for business websites: your pages, forms, photos and blog. If your site sells products online or has member logins, we're not the right fit.
Can you just speed up my WordPress site?
No. Speeding up WordPress usually means adding more plugins, which is how most sites got slow in the first place. We move you off it instead, so the site stays fast.
