A faster, easier-to-find Yaya, without losing a single ranking

A full rebuild of a nanny marketplace across two countries, with every ranking URL kept.

Childcare marketplace · UAE and Bahrain · 2026

The Yaya Middle East homepage on a phone
Overview

The project

Yaya connects families in the UAE and Bahrain directly with verified nannies, maids and caregivers. No agencies, no middlemen. Most families find them through Google, so the website is where the app is won or lost.

Their old site was built with a WordPress page builder. It was slow on phones, hard to change and couldn't show Yaya's own nanny profiles properly. We rebuilt it from scratch, page by page, and kept everything that was already working for them in search.

The challenge

What stood in the way

Slow on the phones families use

The page-builder site was heavy. Most visitors arrive on a phone, and every extra second lost some of them before the page loaded.

Years of rankings to protect

Dozens of pages and 55 blog posts already brought in families from Google. A rebuild that changed their addresses could have wiped that out overnight.

Real nannies, not stock photos

Yaya's best selling point is its live list of verified nannies, but the old site could only show a fragile, static copy of it.

Two countries, one team

The UAE and Bahrain needed their own pages, prices and wording, without the team having to keep two websites up to date.

What we did

How we fixed it

  1. 01

    Kept every address

We mapped every existing page and blog post and rebuilt each one at exactly the same URL, so Google saw the same site, only better.

  2. 02

    Built for phones first

A custom site with no page builder, designed on a phone screen first, with images, fonts and tracking scripts loading only when needed.

  3. 03

    Live nanny profiles

Nanny cards now come straight from Yaya's own system, so new caregivers appear on the site without anyone touching it.

  4. 04

The blog stayed where the team writes it

The Care Guide still runs on the WordPress editor the team knows. The new site just reads from it and displays it faster.

  5. 05

Set up for Google and AI search

Clear page titles and descriptions, FAQ and organization data, a sitemap and an llms.txt, so search engines and AI assistants understand who Yaya is.

  6. 06

    A calm launch

Before switching over we checked every blog post and its search settings on the new site, and planned the move with Yaya's own developer.
